  1. 7.3 VP vs Spirit

Odds: 1.7 for VP (Pinnacle) Pick: Medium+ (2.5 unit) Although in my previous analysis of VP vs Flipsid3 where I said VP was not playing as team without TaZ, their old captain, I do believe that they are still a formidable team that can easily beat tier 2 teams. Spirit on the other hand is a tier 3.5 team right now, their skill level is just too far apart from the individual skills of the VP team. In terms of skill and strategy, I do not see Spirit getting a victory against VP in this ESEA league. VP desperately need some wins to promote to the Pro League soon.
  2. 7.3 VP vs Flipsid3

Odds: Above 1.8 for Flipsid3 Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) Once again my predictions were right the other day, it was weird that bookies were giving Flipsid3 such underdog odds against EnvyUs Academy, given their good roster. Flipsid3 should not be underestimated, they have Blad3 as their IGL as well as legend markeloff in their roster. VP is a team full of veterans as well, but one thing that people do not realize is that VP relies on their team chemistry, they were never super good in terms of skill, but they are always number 1 in terms of mental fortitude, and it is often reflected in long sets or in high stakes tournaments. Swapping out TaZ which was the captain of VP was the worst mistake that VP management ever did. Without TaZ, VP looks lost and while MICHU is quite good, they just don't seem to play like a true team like they used to.
  3. 7.3 VP vs Flipsid3

4. Odds: 1.6 for Kinguin Pick: Low (1 unit) Definitely Kinguin is the favourite team here. Red Reserve has a mediocre roster right now compared to their decent Swedish players and it seems that they are not performing well recently. Kinguin on the other hand is on positive momentum right now, they are having a string of wins and it shouldn't be too difficult for them to win against Red Reserve here.
  5. Odds: 2.9 for Kinguin Pick: Low(1 unit) Kinguin has a chance of winning here since this is a BO1. If we look at their head-to-head statistics, we would find out that Kinguin has traded games with Space Soldiers without any issues. In fact, they are toe-to-toe rivals in the tier 3 scene in the past few years and while Space Soldiers has jumped to the tier 2.5 scene, Kinguin is still a very formidable team. 2.9 odds is quite good and we should try for a low bet to get some profit. It might be better to skip for those of you who prefer to have less risk.
  6. Odds: 1.35 for Space Soldiers Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) Space Soldiers should clearly be the better team here. Unlike their match against Extatus where they have a chance to lose against them, I do not think that Fragsters can upset against Space Soldiers here. Another reason to bet on Space Soldiers is that they are currently ranked as number 22 in ESEA MDL due to their lack of games played. Before the season ends, Space Soldiers would of course try to get some wins to raise their ranks and attend the LAN finals, and one of the ways to achieve this is to win against teams like Fragsters who should be below their level.
  7. Odds: 2.7 for Extatus Pick: Low (1 unit) While I am quite a Space Soldiers fan and they are performing within expectations, the odds are too low for us to bet on them and risk our money. The reason is because Extatus looks good lately. If we look at their recent performance, they performed well against tier 2 teams such as GODSENT, LDLC, OPTIC, they even won against GODSENT and LDLC, which is impressive. If we look at the ESEA MDL standings right now, Extatus is ranked first and Space Soldiers are ranked 22, with only 1 match played so far. Its likely that Extatus will try and maintain their top rank and play seriously in this match, while Space Soldiers still have plenty of games ahead of them to try and gain points.
  8. 16.8 Kinguin vs Flipsid3

Odds: 2.6 for Kinguin (EGB) Pick: Low (1 unit) It should be worth a try for Kinguin to win here. We all know that Kinguin is at the top of the ESEA rankings this season and they are looking quite good during their previous matches, although they did lose to Binary Dragons in the ESL qualifier, this is ESEA and not ESL. Flipsid3 on the other hand does not treat ESEA as serious as they should. They are arguably a much better team than Kinguin, but you often see them relaxing and underestimating tier 3 opponents.
  9. Odds: 4.4 for North Academy (EGB) Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) North Academy definitely deserves a better chance than what the odds would suggest (above 4.0 odds for North to win is ridiculous). They have beaten teams like Team123 and they are also in a boot camp playing together, so I do not know why Space Soldiers are given such great odds. Sure, Space Soldiers are good, but do they deserve 1.04 odds like what bookies are suggesting? I do not think so.
  10. Odds: 1.3 for Space SOldiers Pick: Medium (2 unit) This match would be 90% going to Space Soldier's favour. They are getting better and better with their international experience and even before that they were always a very very good tier 3 team that was underrated by tons of analysts and pundits (including Thorin who trashed them as casuals for defeating Dignitas). With the proper experience they have shown us to be a very capable team that can go toe-to-toe with tier 2 teams like Mousesports. pro100 on the other hand is tier 3 team at best and generally speaking they are much worse in terms of skill and experience.
  11. Nexus on the other hand is tier 3 team at best and generally speaking they are much worse in terms of skill and experience.
  12. 28.6 Gambit vs iGame

Odds: 1.74 for iGame Pick: low+ (1.5 unit) Gambit has been very disappointing this month, just look at their horrible results in the ESEA season; they have lost almost all of their recent matches and even lost to an amateur team WySix, losing against some 15 year olds. It's not a secret that Gambit doesn't take online leagues especially ESEA seriously due to their online connection and focus on LAN tournaments. This is why we should bet on a team like iGame. They are working hard for the opportunity to achieve greater heights and it's worth a bet on them
  13. Odds: 1.7 for Space Soldiers (EGB) Pick: Low (1 unit) Space Soldiers is one of the teams that really shocked the competitive scene. They have gone from being onliners and being underestimated by many many analysts such as Thorin who dissed Space Soldiers and stating their victory over Dignitas last year was a fluke. Them conventional analysts do not follow the tier 3 scene as well as we match betting predictors do. While Kinguin is also a good tier 3 team, Space Soldiers are much better than them and can be considered as a tier 2.5 team now. I am confident that Space Soldiers would prevail against Kinguin.
  14. Odds: 1.7 for Space Soldiers (EGB) Pick: Low (1 unit) Space Soldiers is one of the teams that really shocked the competitive scene. 15. 22.6 PENTA vs Tricked

Odds: 1.4 for PENTA (EGB) Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) On paper, these two teams should be quite close to each other since they are all made up of experienced tier 2.5/tier 3 players and have been playing each other for a long time in the tier 3 circuit. However, PENTA has been steadily improving and that is evidently seen from their statistics. PENTA has been winning quite a number of games and is on an upwards momentum moving into this ESEA League. Tricked on the other hand is inconsistent recently. While they were able to beat GODSENT in the last season easily, they have been having some disappointing results lately. On top of that, the head-to-head between PENTA and Tricked favours PENTA overwhelmingly.
  16. 22.6 PRIDE vs SKITLITE

Odds: 1.6 for PRIDE (EGB) Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) PRIDE should be the favoured side for this match-up. They are very experienced against lesser tier opponents and SKITLITE shouldn't be a big problem for them. MINISE and co. might underperform now and then, but generally speaking they should be able to win here. Although SKITLITE wasn't expected to win against WySix yesterday, they are still tier 4 teams that are inconsistent and games go either way at that tier level. I do not expect their skill to be able to win against an experienced team like PRIDE.
  17. 22.6 Kinguin vs Gambit

Odds: 2.5 for Kinguin (EGB) Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) In normal circumstances, Gambit should be the favoured side since they are the better team in terms of experience and lineup. They have the superior firepower and gameplay, but this match could actually go to Kinguin's side if my prediction is right. This map is Nuke, a notoriously bad map for Gambit and we could see their past experience on this map is a horrible 5-16 defeat to North Academy, a team that is worst than them. Kinguin is actually quite decent, their Nuke is also quite good and they have been winning on this map against many other opponents. Therefore, a low bet for Kinguin might work here.
  18. Odds: 1.4 for Gatekeepers (EGB) Pick: Medium (2 unit) Remember that iGame is a team that managed to beat many tier 2.5 teams last month such as Dignitas, Heroic etc and they even won against NiP, a tier 1.5 team recently. iGame is looking to be one of the rising star teams and its only a matter of time before they can reach tier 2 consistently. They should be the favoured side here by far. Gatekeepers on the other hand has potential to be a good tier 3 team but right now they are too inconsistent. They lost to Team123 recently and it does not look good for them.
  19. Odds: 1.7 for Spirit (EGB) Pick; Medium (2 unit) Team Spirit should be the favoured team in this match. With starix in Spirit and players like COLDYY and DAVCOST, they have a decent mix of skill and leadership/strategic experience. Gatekeepers on the other hand has potential to be a good tier 3 team but right now they are too inconsistent. They lost to Team123 recently and it does not look good for them.
  20. 19.6 WySix vs SKITLITE

Odds: 2.1 for WySix (EGB) Pick: Low (1 unit) I have seen WySix playing against North Academy the other day and ZyWoo really lived up to the hype and dropped a 30 bomb against the much more experienced North Academy team, which they eventually lost but impressed me. He is certainly a future star in the French scene. SKITLITE on the other hand is also an amateur team with some semi-experienced Swedish players. However, WySix really proved their worth against North Academy and we should try for a low bet especially since they have underdog odds right now.
  21. Odds: 3.5 for WySix above 5 rounds Pick: Micro/Low (0.5 unit) This match will certainly be won by Space Soldiers, however I have seen WySix playing against North Academy the other day and ZyWoo really lived up to the hype and dropped a 30 bomb against the much more experienced North Academy team, which they eventually lost but impressed me. He is certainly a future star in the French scene. While Space Soldiers are much better than WySix as a team, we cannot deny that Space Soldiers might underestimate them like North Academy did. I would say its worth a micro bet for these handicap bets since betting on Space Soldiers won't yield any profit.
  22. Odds: 1.4 for Flipsid3 Pick: Medium (2 unit) Flipsid3 should be the rightful favourites for this match-up. They have been looking okay since the start of the season which hopefully indicates that they are taking this seriously. Many professional teams look down on ESEA and throw easy matches simply because its a semi-pro league. Team Spirit used to be a very good tier 3 team but they have been looking horrible recently. I do not have any reason to believe they will upset Flipsid3 here.
  23. Odds: 1.4 for Alternate Attax (EGB) PIck: Medium (2 unit) This match should be fairly easy for a team like Alternate Attax. They have superior experience and skill, remember that Alternate Attax was once the top tier 3 team around and they even made it to the ELEAGUE season 2 Group Stage, surprising everyone. On a good day, Alternate should be taking this without a sweat. Playing Ducks on the other hand is an inconsistent tier 3.5 team. Although they occasionally get good results against relatively better teams than them, we should still not take the risk and go for the safer choice which is betting on Alternate to win this.
  24. 14.6 Gambit vs PRIDE

Odds: 2.5 for PRIDE above 8 rounds Pick: Low (1 unit) I have little doubt that PRIDE can achieve at least 8 rounds against Gambit here. This is an online league and Gambit is known for not taking ESEA seriously and its the truth. They performed quite badly last season and I suspect they will continue to do so here. They are more focused on LAN and offline performance and famous EU teams such as Gambit/Flipside/VP/HR are all known for throwing in ESEA league.
  25. Odds: 2.5 for North Academy above 8 rounds Pick: Low+ (1.5 unit) I have little doubt that North Academy can achieve at least 8 rounds against Gambit here.
